We’re very pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Equity Networks has acquired and taken ownership of Eurotech Services with a view to taking that excellent service we’re known for one step further. It’s a move we’re very excited about, and we think you should be too.
Who are Equity Networks?
Equity Networks, known mainly as ‘Equity’, was set up in 2010 by IT veterans Alex Hall and Marcos Reid with one clear objective; to help small to medium-sized businesses throughout the UK take advantage of a new era of cloud-based technology. Fast forward to 2019, and over 250 businesses from start-ups to FTSE-100 companies have partnered with Equity to take advantage of their knowledge and mastery and of all things cloud.

Why are Equity Networks Acquiring Eurotech Services?
Equity’s mission to transform businesses and help them take full advantage of cloud technology is clear, and it’s something that we at Eurotech were already pursuing with our nearly 500 clients. Equity’s acquisition of Eurotech Services will increase resources and therefore the speed at which the business can help the thousands of businesses throughout the UK that are stuck with out-dated, inadequate tech.
Equity Networks hope to become the UK’s number one ‘go to’ IT support company for small businesses throughout the UK, and this acquisition is simply another step on that important journey. After all, why would a small business want to drastically increase their overheads by employing an in-house IT department when they can outsource to a dependable IT partner for a fraction of the cost? Eurotech has always positioned itself as ‘your very own IT department, without the overheads’ – and that’s not going to change.
What does this mean for customers?
If you’re a Eurotech customer, you’re about to become an Equity customer. You’ll still see the Eurotech logo and engage with many of the same members of staff, but you’re going to be part of a much bigger, better and brighter future. In the coming weeks and months, Equity will be adding a wealth of experience to the Eurotech team along with an impressive roster of new services.
Customers will be able to depend on the same level of rock-solid support and fast troubleshooting they’re used to, but with several additional benefits and service options. These include high-speed fibre with 100Mb, 1Gb or 10Gb connectivity, O2 and Vodafone mobile services, hosted VOIP, Azure and more.
We think that’s great news for our customers.
So… what’s changing?
Many of the exciting changes we’re talking about will be happening behind the scenes, and there’s nothing our current customers or new customers really need to worry about. You may see some changes to our website and branding in the coming weeks and we’ll be adding several new services. We’ll also be in touch with our customers directly via email to keep them informed of any important changes. If you’re a Eurotech customer, there’s nothing we need you to do and your service will be completely uninterrupted. If you’re not a customer, there’s never been a better time to consider partnering with us!
